Unable to find a job in the A, Damon Jones signed a one-year deal with Napoli in Italy, according to Marc Stein. Jones, 33, played for the Bucks last season. Best known for his long-range J and flamboyant personality, Jones, 33, avoided joining the likes of Brevin Knight, Tyronn Lue, Rashad McCants and others who have not yet found work in the L for this coming season. The "Milwaukee Journal Sentinel" has reported that new Milwaukee Bucks General Manager John Hammond, told reporters that the team would carry 15 players on the roster in the upcoming season. That of course is the maximum amount of players a NBA team can have, consisting of 12 active, and 3 inactive players. Hammond told reporters that one of the roster spots will be occupied by veteran guard Damon Jones.

Apparently the self-glossed "best shooter in the NBA" will not be needed in Milwaukee this season after being a part of the trade that brought Mo Williams to the Cavaliers. Yesterday, Milwaukee announced that they feel it best for all parties involved that Damon Jones and his $4.4 million expiring deal need not report to Bucks training camp.
