Bulls elect captains, and more Bulls season predictions

The players voted captains for this season (ht: Chicagoist, of all places), and your winners are holdovers Hinrich and Deng, and new captain...Jannero Pargo Lindsey Hunter [I swear that post originally said Pargo]. This process and result never manages to get less lame. I know they're mostly in charge of talking to the officials, but is it that crazy for the captains to perhaps include your best player (Rose) , or the actual vocal defensive leader (Noah)? And this raises the Lindsey Hun...

Jannero Pargo: Two-Time Bull

Welcome Back, Pargo. The Bulls have signed Jannero Pargo to a one-year, $2 million deal.
“I think he’ll pick up where he left off in New Orleans when he was one of the top sixth men in the league,” said his agent, Mark Bartelstein. “I think he could have done better (financially) if he waited a [...]

Bulls Sign SG Pargo

On the first day when free agents could sign contracts, the Chicago Bulls reportedly signed prodigal son Jannero Pargo for one year worth roughly $2 million. Pargo played from 2003 to 2006 with the Bulls, and spent last season in Europe after a successful spell in New Orleans. Pargo will add offense off the bench, and he can play both the the point and shooting guard positions. I am pleased that the Bulls signed a proven backup for Salmons for a reasonable price, and I think this move is a go...

SG Search: The Return Of Pargo?

According to Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski and his NBA Twitter, the Chicago Bulls have met with one of their former players, shooting guard Jannero Pargo, who spent last season playing overseas. Pargo would provide decent scoring off the bench, and he did reasonable well for the Bulls in his first stint from 2003 to 2006. Discussions apparently went well, according to Pargo's agent. While Pargo may be affordable and available, I do have a few complaints about his game, although, if he di...

The Hornets Didn't Have it All Year

Last night the Hornets season finally ended. It was an injury ridden year where an expanded payroll disappointed everyone as they finished with the seventh seed in the West. Overall, the Hornets lacked the right amount of effort and luck to be successful in the post season.I saw a major on and off switch with this team from the begging of the season. Some nights they'd come out and you think they looked great. Other nights you wondered why the off-season moves made this team worse than la...
