Darren Collison Hits Game-Tying 3 Pointer, Helps New Orleans Hornets to Win
Darren Collison hit a game-tying 3 pointer with 7.5 seconds left and tipped the ball away from fellow rookie Brandon Jennings (drafted 10th overall) of the Milwaukee Bucks as time ran out. He then proceeded, with less than a minute left in overtime, to steal the ball from Jennings and force a foul, sinking both free throws.

Not many people expected Darren to get a lot of playing time with a struggling team an...

Chris Paul on the Mend

There’s no timetable set for his return, but there are encouraging signs for CP3 and the Hornets: “Three consecutive wins before Sunday night’s game against the Miami Heat is an indication the New Orleans Hornets could be heading in the right direction on the court. And the news is good off the court, as well. Injured All-Star guard Chris Paul now is walking without the aid of a hard, plastic boot that immobilized his badly sprained right ankle since the injury occurred Nov. 13 ag...

Line of the Night: Carmelo Anthony (0.97). When you looked at Anthony before the start of the season, you saw player now in his mid-20’s who had seen his shot attempts and scoring decline over the past three years. I’m not sure how anyone could have predicted he’d put up line and line like this [...]

My how the mighty have fallen. The New Orleans Hornets plight is one that every Suns fan can relate to. Sucking, then becoming a contender, and then sucking again. Going through a coaching change, etc. Of course the Hornets descent from up-and-comers to down-and-outers was much shorter than the Suns....

Hornets star Paul has ankle sprain; return unclear

Further tests on Chris Paul's ankle show nothing beyond a sprain, but there is no timetable for the star point guard's return to the New Orleans Hornets.

The team says an MRI confirmed the initial diagnosis. Paul twisted his left ankle in the Hornets' loss Friday night to Portland. Team spokesman Dennis Rogers said Monday that Paul will be evaluated daily but remains out indefinitely.

In 10 games this season, Paul has averaged 23.8 points and 9.2 assists.

Chris Paul had to be helped off the court by teammates after apparently injuring his left ankle late in the third quarter of the Hornets' home game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night.

Doc: Paul Talked More Trash Than Rondo

interesting thing. I think he thought that he got under Rondo’s skin

Rajon Rondo and Chris Paul Don't Like Each Other

It started with the comment from Rondo that was reported by Chris Mannix on Twitter (and subsequently on every Hornets blog) that Chris Paul had the stats he does because he has the ball in his hands all the time. In tonight's game, the two point guards got tangled up under the basket at one point and they had to be separated. They each received a double technical and seemed to play well together the rest of the game. But, after the game there were more fireworks. As the teams were lea...
