The Atlanta Hawks have re-signed restricted free agent forward Marvin Williams, taking care of their last bit of unfinished business from the offseason. Terms of the deal were not immediately available. Williams averaged 13.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists during his fourth season with the Hawks. He was the second overall pick of the 2005 draft after spending one season at North Carolina.

Home sweet home. There’s nothing like being home. Home makes everything right. Everything is good. I"m blessed. I dont know where to start. Well yea I do. March 8, 2009, Mackenzi Kaylee Law ya dig!!! 7 lbs 10 ozs and she's a reflection of me. She's even hairy like me. My big homey Hustle said we mixed with Clydesdale, but he a hater. She so little, all she does is eat, sleep, and hiccup lol. I can say it’s truly a blessing to be a father.

Now back to basketball. We have won 5 in a row, and we"ve beaten some pretty good teams too. Just call us the streak busters. We stopped Detroit, Utah, and beat a good Portland team. We play extremely well at home, and all this is without Marvin. If Joe keeps playing like this we will be a problem in the playoffs. We got to get that number four seed. I feel if we host the first round we have a greater chance of going to the second round or even further. This time of the year is always exciting for basketball fans.

Oh. Im doing my college bracket. Congrats to Texas A&M for doing it again. That's my alma mater and all, but I feel like when it’s all said and done Pitt will be cutting down the nets. Sunday, my teammates Marvin Williams, Mario West, and myself had event called Kicks and Flicks. We took about 80 kids to the movies to watch Madagascar2. All the kids had popcorn, soda, and a bag of skittles, and then they just laughed and enjoyed the movie. After the movie we took them to dinner to one of the near by restaurants. We served them hot dogs, burgers, chips, soda, with dessert. During that time we all interacted with the kids, talk and got personal with them to build a relationship. Every child got a pair of shoes, autographs and pictures from us for the holidays. I really enjoy hanging out with the kids; as long as I can put a smile on their faces I'm happy.

The Lion in Oil blog has video from an extremely non-PC Jazz fan and also the readio call from Hawks broadcaster, Steve Holman.
