Sanchez was only with the San Francisco Giants for a few seasons, but I’m a huge Freddy fan. Which means, it would be hard for me to see him in another uniform. I actually thought he would probably just retire after missing all of the 2012 season.   Freddy has been with the Giants since July 29, 2009. That’s when the Giants pulled the trigger by trading away pitching prospect Tim Alderson to the pirates for Sanchez. Sanchez only played one full season with the Giants and that was the year they first brought the World Series Championship to San Francisco (2010)! Sanchez hit .292 with 7 homers, 47 RBI, and 55 runs scored. The guy was clutch with the bat, and was the perfect guy to have at the plate for a hit-and-run. Matt Sosnick, his representative, said Sanchez is healthy and looking for plate appearances to re-prove his worth. Sanchez has been severely limited by injuries over the past few seasons.
