World Extreme Cage Fighting Lightweight Champion Jamie Varner will be appearing at the the 1st Annual Jamie Varner Charity Seminar at the Sunkist Kids Wrestling/Riches Family Wrestling Facility at ASU. The seminar is Saturday November 22nd from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Josh Hendricks has been cut by the UFC. I guess getting knocked out by a jiu-jitsu expert is a bad career move for a fighter.

The WEC will make its first trip to San Diego on January 25. Urijah Faber, Carlos Condit, and Jamie Varner will all be on the card for WEC 38.

Undefeated lightweight Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone (10-0) is likely to fight WEC lightweight champion Jamie Varner (15-2) at WEC 38 on January 25th in San Diego.

Cerrone secured the title opportunity on Wednesday with a unanimous decision victory over former WEC 155-pound champion Rob McCullough.

In what is becoming a regular occurrence, the WEC put on another outstanding event in which some of the best fighters in the sport were on display for all to enjoy.
