UFC announces Bisping/Leben in return to England

The UFC will return to England this October with one of the country's most popular fighters headlining the card.

Michael 'The Count' Bisping (17-1) will take on Chris "The Crippler" Leben (18-4) in the main event of UFC 89 on Saturday, October 18th at The Nia in Birmingham, England. Bisping was last seen destroying Jason Day in early-June in a first-round stoppage in London, while Leben beat Alessio Sakara in March via TKO in the first round.

One has to think the winner will be the unlucky next victim for 185-pound champ Anderson Silva in the late-fall.

UFC 85 Preview

We're just a couple hours away from UFC 85: Bedlam and I thought I better get in with my predictions. First off, I'm really disappointed that Thiago Alves didn't make weight. I can't believe that a fighter who is about to have the biggest fight of his career could come in four pounds over the limit. Alves is a great young fighter but this really makes me question his heart and desire to be a champion in the future.

Chris Leben Given Jail Time, fight with Bisping Off

Chris Leben will not be fighting Michael Bisping. He violated parole and is going to be spending 35 days in the slammer. I wonder who they're going to have him face, I think a possible fight with Nate Quarry might be in the works. that'd make for an interesting fight seeing as how both of these fighters were dominant in their last PPV appearances.

Win or lose, Wanderlei Silva needs to drop weight classes

At his peak, Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva was the most feared fighter in the world. His ultra-aggressive style won fans over worldwide and he became a dominant force in PRIDE. Silva is the only fighter to beat Rampage Jackson twice and held the PRIDE Middleweight Title for over five years. He looked as if he was unbeatable when he beat Jackson the second time in October 2004. Since that fight Silva is only 4-4, including a loss to long-time rival Chuck Liddell at UFC 79 in which Silva returned to the UFC after a seven year absence.

Tito Ortiz- The most overrated fighter in the World

In the pre-fight hype for UFC 83, Charles McCarthy called Michael Bisping the most overrated big name fighter in the world. I did not agree with McCarthy labeling of Bisping, but it did get me thinking about who I think the most overrated fighter in the world is. I kept coming back to one man, Tito Ortiz.
