Shooto is considered to be the oldest MMA organization on the planet. Started in 1985, there are so many great fights, that its impossible to boil it down to 10, but these are some of the best I've ever seen.

Despite an upset loss to relative-unknown Sergey Golyaev on Saturday at Sengoku 6, Takanori Gomi will meet lightweight grand prix winner Satoru Kitaoka for the vacant Sengoku lightweight title on January 4th in Japan.

Best Pound-for-Pound Fighters in the World

There has been so much debate lately as who is the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, I thought I'd make my list and see what everyone thinks about it. The great thing about the debate is the fact that there are fighters on the list who will fight each other to clear up the picture quite a bit. I see Georges St-Pierre as the biggest threat to overtake Fedor Emelianenko as the top pound-for-pound fighter in the world. GSP could face BJ Penn and Anderson Silva in the next year. Should he defeat both men, it would be hard to argue against him as the best in the world. So with that, take a look at how I rank the best in the world. Feel free to leave your thoughts on my list and who would be in your list.
