Early reports had Urijah Faber taking on Jose Aldo at WEC 38. Now it's coming from MMA Junkie that Jose Aldo is out and a rematch between Faber and Pulver is likely. Urijah Faber was looking for a rematch for WEC 38 but wasn't with Mike Brown as he was hoping for, yet against Jens Pulver.

Do we really want to see Faber vs. Pulver II?

Sources close to the fighters say that a rematch between Urijah Faber and Jens Pulver is basically a done deal for WEC 38, but deep down in our hearts, do we really want to see that fight?

The moment the bell rang in the final round of Jens Pulver's and Urijah Faber's first fight, fans everywhere knew there had to be a rematch. While many people anticipated a second fight, no one could have thought it would be coming quite this soon. MMAWeekly just dropped the bomb that Faber and Pulver are likely to throw down at WEC 38 in January, much sooner than anyone could have expected.

Former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber (21-2) is likely to rematch Jens Pulver (21-10-1) at WEC 38 on January 25th in San Diego, California.

Sources close to the fight have confirmed the likely matchup with MMAWeekly.com, though official agreements have not yet been signed for the bout.

Josh Hendricks has been cut by the UFC. I guess getting knocked out by a jiu-jitsu expert is a bad career move for a fighter.

The WEC will make its first trip to San Diego on January 25. Urijah Faber, Carlos Condit, and Jamie Varner will all be on the card for WEC 38.
