While they trail Chicago, it’s clear the Nets fans have to be impressed from what they have seen lately from center Brook Lopez. Game 1 of their Eastern Conference playoff series was not a game as much as it was a beating. The 106-89 score does not even do much justice to how poorly Chicago played on Saturday. The sloppy, uneven mess was uninspired as they allowed Deron Williams and Brook Lopez to score a combined  43 points. Despite what it looks like, the Bulls won’t stay down for long. Brook, now with the Nets, has averaged 17.7 points and seven rebounds whereas Robin has averaged 6.9 points and 3.7 boards.  Brook also had the upper hand in this slam in which brother Robin was slow to react to his brother crashing down on him. I have not yet received confirmation is Mother Lopez has sent Brook to his room.
