Jennifer Aniston Is After David Wright

Not that I keep up on this sort of thing, but apparently Jennifer Aniston's relationship with John Mayer ended recently and now that Aniston's on the market, she apparently has a few target audiences for her next conquest.

Cadillac Mescallade: Some Good Baseball News

In between some other player being dragged into the spotlight for the
use of performance enhancing drugs, comes a nice story about a baseball
player. The New York Met's All-Star David Wright, while playing for
Team USA at the World Baseball Classic, was very generous to a veteran
of the war in Iraq.

David Wright Forced to Fend Off Attack by Desperate Pack of Cougars

Nooo, not that type of cougar, the more rabid, predatory of the two. As if being an All-Star Major League Third Baseman in one of the world's most desirable cities wasn't enough, David Wright also just happened to be blessed with a face only the straightest of males, and the butchiest of lesbians, couldn't love. For all other persuasions, Mr. Wright adds a whole new meaning to the term "Hot Corner", or so I hear, but that blessing may have become a bit of a curse as of late.
Apparently the Mets slugger was forced to defuse a small riot at his annual "Do the Wright Thing" fundraiser (nice one, David) at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square the other night. According to reports, Wright watched in shock as he was "mobbed by a swarm of trashy-looking cougars." "Middle-age women with bad 80's hair were practically pushing down little kids who were trying to get baseballs signed".
To add to the hysteria, and the hilarity, Wrignt supposedly could be overheard pleading, "Ladies, calm down! Please, relax." Just another day in the life of David Wright. Link to the New York Post blurb after the jump, as well as some select cuts of all time classic Cougs.

All Star Game Doesn't Disappoint...Dan Uggla However Does

Great game, Absolutely great game. And I HATE All Star festivities. I hate Exhibition games. Especially one that ended in a tie a few years ago. With that said. Tonight's game was incredible. I was one of the many who thought that the whole "This Time it Counts" A-S Game thing was completely stupid and just a TV Ad ploy. That also may have happened to coincide with the fact that the Cubs didn't have anything "on the table" in the ASG. And as I'm positive you al...

An Open Letter To Jerry Manuel

Dear Jerry,

Congratulations on your recent promotion to manager of the New York Mets. I have already said a prayer for you and I will be sure to light a candle for you on Sunday as well.

You probably have already been warned about staying on Tony Bernazard's good side, and going to the SNY Gift shop and loading up on Loudmouths T-shirts and an SNY cap to wear at all times when you're not in a Mets uniform. However, those things alone may not be enough to enhance your job securi...

Wright Goes 30/30...MVP Next???

At twenty-four, David Wright is finally coming into his own. The expectations Mets fans had as Wright was coming up through the minors and as a rookie are now coming to light. Having already set career highs in stolen bases, home runs, and walks, Wright is on pace for career highs in batting average, on base percentage, slugging percentage, and RBI's. He's going to be a fixture at third base in Flushing for a long time. If he doesn't win the MVP this season, it won't be long until he does.

Bald is beautiful, according to the Mets...though Shawn Green looks like a milk jug with those dumbo ears. Even vets like Tom Glavine got in on the fun. Kinda reminds me of when the Sox cowboy-up-ed in '03.
