Mitchell will look to avenge the defeat he took when he faced and lost to  Johnathon Banks in Atlantic City in November of 2012. The original rematch was scheduled for February of this year, but Banks had to withdraw due to injury. The 2nd fight will now occur this weekend, June 22nd, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Last week Mitchell held a media workout at the Dream Team Gym in Clinton, Maryland, and Seth showed he has grown and got better since the loss.  “I’m a smarter fighter…it was a tough pill to swallow…it was needed,” Mitchell said. That's too bad about Banks vs. Mitchell, and really, Broner vs. Rees wasn't actually a huge type of headline fight to begin with.
