On Jan. 25, Hurd will appear in a Dallas federal courtroom before Judge Jorge Solis at 1:30 p.m. to enter a plea in response to drug charges.  Hurd has been charged with possession of and intent to distribute large amounts of cocaine. According to the criminal complaint against Hurd, he was arrested in Chicago while walking to his car with a bag of cocaine that was given to him by an informant and an undercover ICE agent.  Investigators said Hurd negotiated to buy five to 10 kilos of cocaine and 1,000 pounds of marijuana per week. Hurd's attorney, Brett Greenfield, said he'll plead not guilty. Hurd spent five years with the Cowboys before being traded to Chicago prior to the start of the 2011 season.  After his arrest, he was cut by the Bears.
