      <title>Crew members suspended after fight</title>
      <description>NASCAR has suspended the two Richard Childress Racing crew members arrested for fighting with Nelson Piquet Jr. at Richmond.

Thomas Costello and Michael Searce were both suspended for four Nationwide Series races and fined $15,000 each. They were also placed on probation until the end of the year for the altercation in the motorhome lot after Friday night's race.

Henrico County police charged Searce with two counts of misdemeanor assault, and Costello with one count of misdemeanor assault. NASCAR cited ''actions detrimental to stock car racing. Involved in an altercation with another competitor after the race had concluded,'' as reason for their punishment.

The altercation happened long after Scott and Piquet tangled on the track and then on pit road after the race. Scott approached Piquet, and Piquet shoved him and kicked Scott in the groin.

      <title>Nelson Piquet kicks Brian Scott in the groin after Nationwide Richmond race (Video)</title>
      <description>As many men would agree, getting kicked in the groin isn't a fun thing and back on Friday night, two NASCAR Nationwide drivers got into a post race&#160;confrontation&#160;which lead to one kicking the other in the groin.

After battling for fifteenth place during the Richmond Toyota Care 500, drivers Nelson Piquet and Brian Scott tempers flared in the pits.

Keep an eye on Piquet (in the white race suit) as he argues with Scott and then plants his foot squarely in Brian's groin:

      <title>Nelson Piquet Jr. Delivers Kick To Brian Scott&#8217;s Groin Following Nationwide Series race</title>
      <description>Nelson Piquet Jr. got into a heated argument with Brian Scott after the NASCAR Nationwide Series race Friday at Richmond International Raceway. The argument turned into shoving and the shoving turned into a cheap kick to Brian&#8217;s groin which was delivered by Nelson&#8217;s foot. &#160;The incident stemmed from the two drivers battling it out on the track for 14th place late in the race and their cars ended up tapping each other more than once.
According to Sporting News, &#8216;Piquet said their feud stems from a truck race at Martinsville and &#160;Scott said it was a long time brewing.&#8217;
Brian spoke on the incident following the race:
&#8220;I went to talk to him I was a little heated, and then he kicks me right below the belt, which I think is a below-the-belt type shot. &#8230; That just shows his character.&#8221;
Piquet also spoke to the media and apologized for the kick which he said was unintentional.

During the nearly two hour practice session on Friday morning, crew chief Chris Carrier and the No.30 Turner Scott Motorsports team worked to help the Wolf Pack Energy Services Silverado find more traction coming off the corners. Their hard work paid off as Piquet Jr. and his team qualified 13th. Following qualifying on Friday, Piquet Jr. reported to his crew that he might have a brake issue.
