I Drafted the Best SP Rotation… How You Like ‘Dem APPLES?

You’ve seen Grey’s PEDS, you’ve seen his auction strategy, you’ve seen his Pitcher Pairings, you’ve seen his rankings, you've seen his Fantasy Baseball War Room, you’ve seen his mustache... doode’s an open book (and actually, he’s got one of them, too). He’s fantasy baseball’s equivalent of Anna Paquin, constantly naked but odd-looking, so who cares? Wait, he's more like Helen Hunt, willing to do full frontal, but way past his expiration date. Hmm, maybe Anne Hathaway, baring it all but overrated in terms of talent and sexiness? Point is, he shows a lot, but he's less accessible than he appears. The post I Drafted the Best SP Rotation… How You Like ‘Dem APPLES? appeared first on Fantasy Baseball Blog at Razzball.com.

Rose Bowl Preview: Two titans of rushing collide in the grandaddy of them all

Stanford vs. Wisconsin
	Jan. 1, 5pm (ET), ESPN
	Rose Bowl (Pasadena, CA)
	Line: Stanford -6 1/2

If you're a Big Ten fan, a Pac-12 fan, or heck a fan of tradition in college sports, than this is the one for you. After all, they don't call it the "Granddaddy of Them All" for nothing. In this years edition we've got a pair of threepeaters as Wisconsin makes their 3rd straight trip to Pasadena and are searching for their first win, while Stanford is in it's 3rd straight BCS bowl game and will be making their 1st appearance in the Rose Bowl since a 2000 game - one that they lost to the Badgers mind you. Despite a mismatch by records this game could have smash mouth classic written all over it, but unless something truly crazy happens it will be hard to top the past two editions of this game for dramatics.

Sexiness: Anna Paquin - Hey, call me crazy, but I wouldn't want to mess with one of the stars of True Blood, nor do I want to mess with a woman who po...

Lazlo's Clicker - True Blood Returns, The Killing Finale, Falling Skies

HighlightsThrough four seasons, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the weekly amusement park thrill ride that HBO’s True Blood has consistently taken me on, but for me, at least, Season 4 was the relatively lame part of the ride, and I’m glad that Season 5 is off to a bang with the dramatic equivalent of a 300 foot drop, a 360 upside-down loop and a 90 mph double-helix thrown in for good measure. I credit the reinvigorated sense of excitement to a re-emphasis of some of the show’s more colorful chracters and a re-dedication to the supremacy of the vampire storyline over some of the supernaturals (witches, were-panthers, fairies) wandering Bon Temps, Louisiana. Hit the title/read more to continue reading. . .image source

Season 5 picked up contemporaneously where season 4 left off, with Sookie (Anna Paquin) having just shot werewolf Debbie (Brit Morgan) after Tara (Rutina Wesley) sacrificed herself to save Sookie. Enter cool storyline #1: Vampire Tara. Sookie and Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis),

NFL Lockout: The Movie

The Lockout is OVER!!! Over the past few months, the lockout has provided no shortage of twists, turns and some stuff that Aaron Sorkin and Scott Rudin could easily turn into Hollywood drama (if you doubt that last sentence, I direct your attention to the film “Moneyball” coming to a theater near you in September).
Regardless, arguing the merits of whether a series of events would make a decent movie is not what this post is all about, nor is it what’s fun about creating fake movies. The fun lies in thinking about which actors would play each of the main players.

Kiefer Sutherland as Roger Goodell
Jack Bauer, er, Kiefer certainly carries the swagger, attitude and arrogance to pull off a man like Goodell and since Kiefer’s run as Jack, he needs a role where he’d have to transform himself a bit to play the bulkier NFL Commissioner. The only thing I’m worried about is Kiefer breaking character in the middle of a tense negotiation scene, jumping over the table, grabbing the Tom Brady ...
