Beckham Retires But The Hairstyles Live On

David Beckham retired today after a long and illustrious career that saw him play with Man Utd, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, AC Milan, and PSG. He played in three World Cups and was capped by his country 115 times in which he captained them 58 times. One could say that his honor collection is nothing short of outstanding. Another aspect of Beckhams career however, was his wonderful locks. Yes, Becks hair has gone through an evolution quite unlike any celebrity i’ve seen. From Brylcream to braids, here’s a collection of his best (and worst) hairdos.

The childhood years saw a lot less high fashion and a lot more my mother is trying her hand at barbering style. Solid start from Becks though.

After the regular early 90′s wet curtains look, Becks kicked it up a notch to the bleached blonde boy band look. Posh had her paws on him at this stage so he must have been keeping up with the missus.

Next we have the sleek continental look. Often accessorized with an alice band and or sarong,...

Hard Targets: A Brandon ‘Lloyd Christmas’ Miracle

Greetings all! It is I, Tehol Beddict, here to help you win your fantasy title. Unlike Beyonce faking a pregnancy or the rapper ‘Rick Ross’, everything I say and do is real. Yes, I told many of you to start Denario Alexander last week and he dropped a goose egg. OK, I have no answer for that. It won’t happen again…….I think not anyway. All I can do is write what these players should do agains the competition they face. Am I the one tackling Calvin Johnson at the 1 yard line on a weekly basis? Am I inside Josh Freeman’s pitiful mind, forcing him into disgraceful play? Negative on both counts. My chicken and I thank you for not verbally abusing me on the comment section, though if you decide to do so, I give you this warning: I am able to trace your comments and my chicken and I will come knocking on your door. He’s a vicious little ****. I’m lying. We will do no such thing. I’m pathetic actually. Small children laugh at me and if I did manage to track you down all that would happen i...

How my imaginary friend broke his back

\n');The main point is that imaginary friends are the workhorse of our reality. Whatever crazy things come to our mind, they’re the first to test it out and see if it’s do-able or not. However, imaginary friends aren’t like our human friends.. Duh? If we get caught washing Mr. Johnson in a public restroom, our human friends might not be as sympathetic as we might expect them to be. On the other hand, imaginary friends tend to make everything look simple thus giving us the green light to …make a fool of ourselves.A few months ago, I found this awful article in a magazine, in which different sex advices were handed out like they were lollipops. The problem wasn’t the shear disproportion between reality and fantasy but the lack of detailed information on how everything was to be done. For example, “have sex at your workplace” was mentioned out like it was something casual or as if everyone except me was doing it. Please tell me! Did you have sex at your workplace yet? Are you doing it now or pl

Top 20 Small Forwards For Fantasy Basketball, 2012-2013

We’ve all heard the snarky comment, those who can’t do, teach. Well, those who can’t play basketball play Small Forward. Now, both of those statements are not entirely true, and I’m really just being hateful. There are some great Small Forwards, but this position gets really weak really fast. As you digest our 2012-2013 fantasy basketball rankings, remember that Small Forward is a position you need to grab early or suffer the consequences. It’s sort of amusing that James and Durant are the top ranked PLAYERS out of all of the positions, but the position itself makes me verp.
The first tier, without question, includes LeBron James and Kevin Durant. This tier is called “Scarlett Johansson’s Breasts.” It really doesn’t matter which one you grab. “But, Chris, I’m a girl. A straight girl” So? I’m a hetero guy and I’ve enjoyed Richard Gere’s ass.
1. LeBron James - See top ten for 2012 fantasy basketball for LeBron Jame’s projections.
2. Kevin Durant - See top ten for 2012

Hard Targets: Waxing About Wayne’ing

Wow, what an opening weekend! Fantasy football just got wilder then Richard Gere on a weekend getaway at a gerbil farm. Of course I’m not referring to the outcomes of the REAL football games, as there were not big time shockers there, other then RG3 leading “the Skins” over the Saints. I’m referring to the shockingly high amount of targets some players received, and the horrifying total targets a few other big names earned. And that is what I will be writing about weekly here on Razzball. So please partake in this weekly festivity with me as you will hopefully receive some added insight to help with future decisions. Playing and writing about fantasy football for a living is a hard job, but somebody has to do it. Let’s begin.
Reggie Wayne- 9 catches for 135 yards on 18 targets. EIGHTEEN! Would have been nice for us who owned Weezy last season to get anything resembling this for a two game stretch, let alone one game. Obviously Curtis Painter was one of the worst starting QB’s of all...

In the war room at IT IS HIGH, we generally avoid:a) global financial gobbledegookb) bighead searches for particlesc) celebrity gossipd) the National League pennant race. But last week's stunning news about the impending divorce of Tom Cruise and Kate Upton, Perry, Middleton Holmes has left us in a quandry... (not to be confused with former Yankee bullpen lugnut Paul Quantrill.) Who about little Suri?Keep in mind that Tom Cruise was born in Syracuse (True fact: So was Richard Gere and Robert Di Niro's dad! Must be something in the water.) Thus, to name his only daughter "Suri Cruise" was obviously a heartfelt tribute to Tom's home town, the capital of Onondaga County and ground zero site for the Destiny Supermall. As a result, Syracusans have always taken a special interest in the welfare of this future celebrity star. We want to help. And last time anybody looked, this city still has a few choice tax breaks left to offer.Currently, according to People Magazine...

Mariano Rivera hints at retirement

Mariano Rivera— the greatest closer in major league history— had no comments about the sorry state of the New York Yankees starting rotation or the return of Andy Pettitte but sounded like he was getting ready to call it a career after this season.

Rivera was at the Manhattan restaurant Siro's on Thursday night to pose for photos and promote his April/May Gotham magazine cover.

While he was coy about his future, Rivera told actor Richard Gere— who interviewed the closer for Gotham— and asked him if he would retire after this year: "I don't know. But I'll tell you . . . it's been a great journey, but I do miss my kids a lot. It's hard seeing your kids, then you're separated for a few weeks, but at the same time you have your. . . love for the game, that drive that's always there. New York has been a blessing for me and my family. But it's a decision to be made, and hopefully we made the best for everyone."

MARIANO RIVERA COVERS APRIL/MAY ISSUE OF GOTHAM MAGAZINE

New York Yankees closer, Mariano Rivera, suited up for the cover of Gotham magazine’s April/May 2012 issue. Rivera has yet to reveal whether or not this season will be his last and though he’s keeping quiet on the retirement rumors, he opened up on a wide range of topics inside the publication.
Actor and longtime Yankee fan, Richard Gere, interviewed Mariano. The two spoke about the early stages of his career, his charity efforts in New York and in Panama, the loss of George Steinbrenner and facing his hardest hitter, Edgar Martinez, among other items. Below are a few excerpts from the article titled “Here’s The Pitch…” For the full interview, read on here.
On his mindset on the mound:
“I don’t feel that Mariano has gone, I feel like it’s just me and the catcher—I don’t even see the hitter. I feel like everything is gone—the noise, the fans. I’m in kind of like a tube, and it’s the catcher and me. There’s nothing that can take me away from that peace. I told the guys, and they

Game of the Day

Guinea pigs and bubblegum? What is this Richard Gere's house? Here's a simple game that should keep your attention for at least a couple of hours while you try to forget that it's unbelievably nice outside. In Bubble Guinea Pop all you have to do is use momentum to toss guinea pigs next to other animals, then they blow bubbles and cover the animals in bubblegum. I don't know why that would be the object of any game, I didn't read the intro, but it's pretty fun. With a good amount of levels too you should be able to stay occupied while you don't do any of your actual work. Play Bubble Guinea Pop Posted by Atkins under Game of the Day

Time for a big-time BCS title game halftime show?

A recent article in the Baton Rogue newspaper The Advocate discussed the expenses LSU and Alabama were having to pay to have their marching bands perform during halftime at the BCS title game.

"LSU senior associate athletic director Herb Vincent said the school
needs 529 tickets for its band, cheerleaders and support staff. At $350
each — the highest face-value cost for BCS tickets because of their
location — that’s $185,150 the school must pay.

The allotment for
Alabama’s band is slightly more. Deborah Lane, assistant vice president
for university relations, said the Alabama band needs 539 seats for a
total cost of $188,650.

Overall, Vincent said, the total bill for
the LSU band’s appearance at the BCS game will run to $445,150,
including transportation, three night’s lodging, meals, police escorts
and other miscellaneous costs.

Alabama did not provide the total
amount for what it will cost to get its band to and from the game,
though it’s...

Round up of growing Spaz criticism from national outlets

The national guys are starting to weigh in with Spaz comments. Some are more critical than others and some deflect blame from Spaz to Jags or Gene. In the end though I think Spaz will be judged by his record and how the team responds in the second half of the season. Of course the best line of the week was from SBNation as they quoted an exchange between two BC fans on BCI. SBNation's Exchange of the Week:SoaringToGlory: Never in my wildest dreams did I think we’d be flirting with a 2-win season.CSOM_97: FLIRTING? We are whoring ourselves out on a cheap crack-infested strip in a bad part of Detroit on the off chance Richard Gere happens by with our second winSoaringToGlory: Please tell me no gerbils will be harmed in the making of this football season. That would be the last straw.Pat Forde's Forde Yard Dash:Coach who should take the bus to workFrank Spaziani (38), Boston College.
