He finished the final three years with the St. Louis Cardinals and Cleveland Indians.  Like most relief pitchers, they rarely if ever get the fame and glory that is deserved unless you’re named Mariano Rivera. Without those guys to bridge the gap from the sixth inning on, Rivera and his counterparts never get that chance.  Radinsky put up unbelievable numbers his senior year in high school, Stephen Strasburg numbers you might say;  14-1, 0.72 ERA and 180 strikeouts in 100⅓ innings. He was drafted in the third round of the 1986 draft by the Chicago White Sox, and played four years in the minors until making his debut for the Sox in 1990, deservedly so.
