More lines released for PSU/Big Ten

In addition to the three lines released earlier this week--Oregon St. (-2.72), Syracuse (-25.74), and Temple (-15.04)--CollegeFootballPoll.com posted today the remaining lines for Penn State and the Big Ten. It really shouldn't be much of a surprise to fans that CFP is predicting Penn State to finish at 10-2. However, with Wisconsin slated to finish second--Ohio State is first--this would relegate the Lions to the Capital One Bowl. Basically, this entire season could come down to the October matchup with the Badgers, in Madison. Talk about must-see TV.

Big Ten Football Jukebox '08

Inspired from the clever concept brought to life by The College Football Guys, DTI brings you a fun and somewhat different outlook of each Big Ten team's 2008 football season, using some of the music world's top-hits to build the storyline from Columbus to Madison, Ann Arbor, State College and beyond. Feel free to critique and analyze each of the selections as all 11 squads have dozens of stories and headlines which could very well factor into the 08? campaign. Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All-time list is a good place to start…

Big Ten Fantasy Preview

There is no shortage of fantasy options in the Big Ten. That includes defenses. The Buckeyes will certainly be tested, though, with heavy fire power at schools like Purdue, Northwestern and even Minnesota. How about The Nation's Top Back? However, the most intriguing school might wear Maize and Blue.

Big Ten Bloggers 2008 "Fearless" Conference Predictions

In the last of three 2008 Big Ten Bloggers Preseason Predictions posts, the Big Ten looks to take a turn for the weird. Outside of Ohio State, not many teams are expected to do extremely well in 2008. (I beg to differ) Michigan State, Northwestern and Penn State seem to be gaining steam among us "experts," with Ohio State still leading the pack. Again, I'd like to thank Lake the Posts for organizing this and putting it all together. So here ya go.

Big Ten Fantasy WR Rankings

Although Minnesota finished at 1-11 and had the worst defense in the nation last season, fantasy players should find plenty of value in the Gophers in '08. In fact, there is no better fantasy wide receiver in the Big Ten than Minnesota's Eric Decker.

Big Ten Bloggers All-Big Ten Team

Again I want to thank LTP for all its hard work in putting this together. Getting 40+ college football bloggers to do anything consistently is enough of a challenge. Last week, we had the BTB Conference Projection. Next week, we'll get into the real juicy stuff, like best games, awards and such. So, without delay, here's the 2008 Big Ten Bloggers All-Big Ten Team:

Priority mismanagement; Iowa fighting the flood water, and the media

This has been just another example of what's wrong with this nation, and what's happened to it the last eight years. In case you (somehow) haven't seen BHGP's coverage on the 2008 Iowa floods, it gets even better. The Des Moines Register went psycho recently, bitching at BHGP for an embedded video. You'll see how ridiculous this is once you read it. So check it out below.
