Consensus Start/Sit for Week 12

My husband and I are enjoying a pretty entertaining college game right now - Tennessee Vols vs Kentucky Wildcats - and while my husband, who grew up in Knoxville, would like the Vols to be thoroughly dominating, I'm at least pulling for an exciting game. But we're at halftime now which gives me a chance to post some weekend links and the consensus start/sit for Week 12 of course.

Links first!

So far this year, the Cardinal are 3-2 overall with losses at San Diego and at home versus Oral Robe...

UK/Cleveland St. re-cap

The Kentucky Wildcats (5-0) took the court yesterday in the semi-finals of the Cancun Challenge, taking on the Cleveland State Vikings (3-2) on a makeshift basketball court in what looks to be a converted banquet hall of some sorts, featuring an open bar behind the bleachers and chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. After a bit of a slow start, the Cats took care of business against a small but scrappy Cleveland State team. UK took the lead early and never looked back, though a late run in the...

Kentucky Wildcats 34, Georgia Bulldogs 27: Chicken Little Was an Optimist

Two weeks ago, my son was under the weather. Last week, my daughter caught what had ailed her big brother. This week, I took ill, and I felt worse and worse throughout the day on Saturday, leading me ultimately to the conclusion that I should eschew the season’s final home game and watch the clash in the comfort of my living room. Needless to say, that was a good decision, despite the fact that it forced me to listen to Bob Davie’s insipid commentary, in which he actually said, "We’l...

Between the update on Chance Veazey’s condition and the passing of Uga VII, it’s been an emotionally draining week here in Bulldog Nation. In addition, it has been a busy week for me personally, and I am seriously under the weather this evening. The bright spot in all this is that is puts me in an appropriately negative frame of mind to bring you . . . Too Much Information!
