The best Louisville game of the decade quarterfinals: 4 vs. 5

There was still one Sweet 16 matchup to be played, but since it was the 2/15 tilt, I decided to simulate it.

The victory was capped off by Malik Jackson returning a fumble for a TD and then decapitating Mike Gansey.
So we move on to the round of eigh...

Our Short, Regional Nightmare is Over: Kragthorpe Out as Coach

What started as very early morning message board rumors, picked up steam at approximately 10:33 AM when Pat Forde joined the crew on Gameday for an announcement, and became basically official with multiple reports (ESPN.com, LSR, ITV), is the biggest news of the season, a sentence many of us have been waiting to write, read, say aloud, text or even Tweet: Steve Kragthorpe is no longer the coach of the University of Louisville football team. A noon news conference will make it official.
So no...

"Do not expect too much from me, and you will not be let down." I love typing, saying, humming and singing that Gin Blossoms lyric.
I'm looking around and seeing posts about Earl Clark and rivalries and Skywalker/Yoda allusions to the Lakers. I had been thinking about this and it was about time to chime in.
What would you rather have?

The Suns' fans have hope. It was a dismal (well, relatively dismal) 2008-2009 campaign and no one's ...

In about a month’s span, the NCAA Tournament captures the entire nation like the Superbowl does in one day. It’s a spectacle to behold, from the Cinderella story stomping their way through storied institutions to the ultimate play in sports, the buzzer-beater. And guess what? NCAA basketball is back. Sure, the regular season probably flies under the radar of your average sports fan.
