Meeting a legend

Growing up as a wrestling fan, I always relish the chance to interview the stars that graced my television set as a kid. The more I began to learn about the business, the more I began a fascination with the history of the industry. This is why I always value the chance to interview the great legends of the sport over some of today's biggest stars. Last week I had the chance to sit down with one of the greatest legends of all-time, Larry "The Axe" Hennig.

Kurt Angle misses TNA Sacrifice due to injury

It was déjà vu for Kurt Angle last night as he had to miss a pay-per-view main event due to injury at TNA Sacrifice. This is nothing new to Kurt Angle who has been hampered by neck injuries going back to the Olympics. Was last night the beginning of the end of a great career or just another bump in the road for one of wrestling's great warriors?

Wrestling's greatest feuds - Magnum T.A. vs. Nikita Koloff

1985 saw the Cold War between Russia and America coming to a slow end. However, Americans still had a natural hatred for the evil Super Power. Nikita Koloff was the last wrestler to successful channel that hatred into one of the biggest rookie runs in wrestling history. Jim Crockett Promotions became ground zero for the war between Russia and America.

FLASHBACK: Pro wrestling used to be so cool

Remember when pro wrestling was still considered to be "real" by a large portion of America? When guys went out and wrestled with emotion? When guys like Rowdy Roddy Piper would deliberately hit himself in the forehead with an unopened beer bottle and bleed profusely just to show those stinkin' Sheepherders that he wasn't gonna put up with their sorry asses anymore? You don't remember any of that? Oh. (VIDEO)

"Stone Cold" Hillary Clinton

People were outraged when I used wrestling metaphors in a political article a few months ago. "This isn't a wrestling match Eric, this is serious stuff," was about the most tame comment I received from blog readers. Yet, is it me or has Hillary Clinton morphed into "Stone Cold" Steve Austin over the last several weeks?
