Wizards Bradley Beal calls out Derrick Rose BIG TIME

We know Derrick Rose has been healthy for quite some time. We know Derrick Rose was looking exactly like his former self on the floor in warm-ups when the Chicago Bulls season ended last week. What we don’t know is why Derrick Rose didn’t just sack up and play. You know, Derrick Rose might have tried to, oh I don’t know actually earned his $16 million a year.
Or if not actually play this year. At least drop the effing charade. The complete garbage Derrick Rose did all year long with the “God only knows If I’ll play or not this year.” Derrick Rose has Twitter. A simple “Hey, I’m playing in tonight’s game. I’m back.” would have been enough. And if the other way was reality, a simple “Hey, my leg still doesn’t feel right. I won’t be ready for next year,” this would have been fine too.
Either way, just tell us. Instead Derrick choose to talk out of both sides of his mouth and be an attention w****. And because he was a disgusting, revolting attention w**** now he deserves every pejor

Florida's Walker transferring after freshman year

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Florida swingman DeVon Walker has decided to transfer after one season of limited playing time.

Coach Billy Donovan made the announcement Monday, saying Walker has been granted his release and "we hope for the best for him wherever he chooses to go."

Walker played in 25 games last season, finishing with 20 points, 17 rebounds and four blocked shots.

He's the second underclassman to leave the Gators this month. Point guard Braxton Ogbueze announced his intention to transfer last week.

Florida has one of the nation's top recruiting classes headed to Gainesville. It includes guard Kasey Hill and forward Chris Walker, both McDonald's All-America selections.

Donovan also landed Rutgers transfer Eli Carter last week. Carter chose Florida over Maryland, looking for a fresh start after coach Mike Rice was fired.

Florida's Young opts to return for senior season

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Florida center Patric Young is staying in school for his senior season, a decision that should make the Gators one of the favorites in the Southeastern Conference.

Young's choice was no big surprise since he has talked for weeks about wanting to get his degree.

The 6-foot-9 junior from nearby Jacksonville averaged 10.1 points and 6.3 rebounds this season. With seniors Kenny Boynton, Erik Murphy and Mike Rosario graduating, Young could be the focal point of coach Billy Donovan's offense in the fall.

Young had been projected as a second-round pick in the 2013 NBA draft, causing some speculation that he might turn pro. But Young says he's focused on finishing out his career, which has ended in the regional finals all three years.

Henderson now supporting Gators

Marshall Henderson is one of the more polarizing college basketball players in recent history. He’s had issues off the court, and is absolutely wild on it. He looks like he’s going to shoot the ball every time he touches it, and rarely seems like he’s ready to pass. The Ole Miss guard shoots over 15 times per game, with nearly 11 of those attempts coming from three. In other words, he is the definition of a gunner. And who can forget the time he mocked Florida fans after beating the Gators in the SEC Championship game? Well, Ole Miss has been eliminated from the NCAA tournament, and the Florida Gators are still fighting. So, in order to support his conference, Marshall Henderson is apparently now supporting the Gators. #GATORCHOMP FEVER OUT HERE IN THE DFW!!!
Florida Gators brings the curtain down on Florida Gulf Coast’s miracle run

ARLINGTON, Texas, March 30 –The clock struck midnight and the story of Florida Gulf Coast is no more.
The kids from Dunk City spent the week tempting fate with bold proclamations and a student body prone to obscene pep rallies.
It was too much inspiration to feed a better Florida Gators team with stronger players and superior coaching.

Rosario goes off the back for crafty play

It turns out that FGCU isn’t the only school in Florida capable of highlight-reel plays. In fact, against Florida Gulf Coast, the Florida Gators reclaimed their dominance of the Sunshine State, and did so in style. In the last few minutes of the game, point guard Mike Rosario had a streetball-ish inbound pass off the back of an Eagles defender which he then turned into a vicious dunk — definitely a top play. Here’s a video: Mike Rosario is so crafty, it’s a wonder he wasn’t recruited by Florida Gulf Coast. — Matt Goldich (@MattGoldich) March 30, 2013 That Rosario effort was pretty sweet!
Florida Gulf Coast gets 'sweet' heels

There is no telling when the clock is going to strike midnight on Florida Gulf Coast’s season, but is going to be a fun ride until it does. Unless you are a Gators fan, or have them in your Final Four pool, you are behind the Eagles heading into Friday’s Sweet 16 game. The community of Fort Myers is definitely behind them, as is Norman Love Confections, who has a one of its two store fronts in the same town. The artisan chocolate company has redesigned its chocoate high heels in FGCU Eagle colors. Via News-Press.com: “We just put them out late yesterday afternoon,” said Norman Love, chocolatier and owner. “These chocolate high heels have always been popular. The FGCU pair colored green and blue with a basketball on the toe have been wildly popular.” Just one of these shoes, at a size five measurement, sells for $15 a pop. But they are selling fast, and more are one their way to being made. In addtion to the slippers, the local European American Bakery, made 60 FGCU-iced sugar cookie...

Video: ESPN aired FGCU pep rally just in time to hear the crowd’s f-bomb chant

The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles will be the big story for ESPN this week. We will see head coach Andy Enfield answer questions about his house being on the market and that gorgeous wife he took out to Taco Bell. We learn more about just who Sherwood Brown, Brett Comer and Chase Fieler are as we will see countless shots of beautiful shell-lined beaches. This is what happens when a school is only 15 years old AND becomes the first 15 seed to move on to the Sweet 16. But ESPN may want to slow it down just a bit. They went live to a FGCU pep rally on SportsCenter, and ended up catching a loud and very clear chant directed toward the Eagles opponent on Friday, the Florida Gators: Hey, it’s college, that was too be expected. What is amazing is that ESPN did not cutaway at any point, even though it was as clear as day. ESPN is going to get in any trouble for this, since they are a cable station and don’t have to answer to the FCC, but funny and unexpected nonetheless. H/T @bsscalabrine24
