You can see the full results here I have to say that it's pretty ******* disappointing to see the Cyclones get snubbed the way they did this year. David Sims won Defensive Newcomer of the year, and Jesse Smith was on the First Team All-Big 12, so definitley props to those guys. Auburn Hires Coach Mediocrity

It appears that Tommy Tuberville resigned from Auburn after some high ranking officials gauged the interest of Bobby Petrino and Mike Leach a few weeks ago. Oh how big of a mistake that has turned out to be. Auburn has found Tubberville's replacement and it does not looking promising. Gene Chizik, the mediocre Iowa State head coach will be taking over at Auburn.

Gene Chizik has big shoes to fill at Auburn, but he already knows that. During the Tigers best ever season in 2004 Chizik was the Tigers' defensive coordinator. That season Auburn went 13-0, was unfairly not allowed to play in the national championship game, and allowed a NCAA low 11.3 points per game. Now Auburn has replaced Tommy Tuberville with Chizik, who comes in from Iowa State after not having much success in the Big 12.

This has been just another example of what's wrong with this nation, and what's happened to it the last eight years. If you are an opposing team and you have to play at Iowa, take a second look at the kickoff time and pray it isn't a night game. If you thought Kinnick is loud in the day, it is like a hornets nest at night. Teams often go into an Iowa game ranked and return home defeated.
