First Look: Temple Owls

I think the biggest draw for this game is already being set up--the pupil vs. the mentor. But the underlying story line--one PSU fans may overlook--is the amazing job Golden has done in Philadelphia since his arrival in 2006. Five years ago, if you said "Temple" and "bowl game" in the same sentence, it was part of a joke. Now, it's a real possibility. Scary, huh?

Louisville Cardinals = CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM Brian Brohm = HEISMAN

Why is everyone hyping the return of Steve Slaton and Pat White. Have you forgotten that the Louisville Cardinals beat this same duo last year and have the same set of offensive weapons as last year with one more year of knowledge under their belt. If the coach is an issue, remember that this is the coach Louisville wanted before they took Bobby Petrino.

Brian Brohm will win the Heisman if Louisville goes undefeated.

I am also not happy with the fact that most major polls do not have Brian Brohm even as a Heisman Candidate

Kentucky Wildcats are awful, UL will wipe the floor with them!

Bobby Ross Retires; Coaching Is A Young Man's Game

70-year old Bobby Ross, the head coach of the Army football program, retired today. As with most things Bobby Ross-related, the move was done quietly, with little fanfare. Ross was hired three seasons ago to rebuild Army's program, but he struggled with a 9-25 record with the Black Knights losing their final six games of the 2006 season.
