Notre Dame coach calls U.S. military "hoodlums and thugs"

Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis used to be a respected coach. Now he loses games and degrades the U.S. military. Recently, Weis was quoted as saying "I could get hoodlums and thugs and win tomorrow. I won't do it that way." He was referring to his matchup with the football teams of Navy and Air Force. Nice call, Charlie-good timing too, considering, I don't know, WE'RE AT WAR

Charlie Weiss is a fraud

I had a quick thought as I was watching Roger Goodell's press conference yesterday. Following his meeting with Matt Walsh, Goodell tried to put the thing to bed. All of the sudden I started having flashbacks to Notre Dame's last season. Now it all makes sense. Charlie Weiss really is a fraud!

Three Things I Can't Wait To See This Fall In The Big Ten

Ivan Maisel
1. Ohio State is the overwhelming favorite to win its fourth consecutive championship. The Buckeyes are loaded on both sides of the line. Yet all anyone wants to know is whether the name "Terrelle Pryor" will be recognized by anyone outside of Columbus in October. Will offensive coordinator Jim Bollman create a Tebow-like package of plays for Pryor? Or does Pryor disappear until he learns starter Todd Boeckman's playbook?

New Cowboys Stadium To Host Notre Dame-ASU in 2013

The Cowboys' new stadium is still more than a year away from completion, but it's not stopping the team from making plans.

The Cowboys announced on Thursday that Notre Dame and Arizona State have agreed to play a game on Oct. 5, 2013 at the new stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The stadium is expected to open in the summer of 2009, and is already set to host events such as Super Bowl XLV following the 2011 NFL season, the annual AT&T Cotton Bowl, the 2009 and 2010 Big XII Championship football games. And just last month, the Cowboys announced a 10-year series between Texas A&M and Arkansas.

Now, the stadium is ready to bring in one of the most recognized college football teams in the country.

Charlie Weis is trying to put the "Fighting" back into "Irish". The Notre Dame coach spoke at a brunch (where else) before the Blue-Gold spring game, when he threw in this statement that's certain to catch the attention of those in Ann Arbor: "To hell with Michigan."

Chris Zorich Loses in Hamburger Eating Contest at CJ's Pub

Chris Zorich ended up in the middle of the pack of 11 competitors at CJs Pub by eating 4 miniburgers. Jim Seitz, a JV volleyball coach at Washington High School, came in first by eating 6.

I'm assuming the miniburgers were the size of regular hamburgers, since CJs Pub has some ginormous hamburgers.
