Top 5 underclassmen who should withdraw from the NBA draft

Here's a good article pleading with five underclassmen to not enter the NBA draft and stay a couple more years, for the sake of the NBA and themselves. No. 5 is Lousville's Derrick Caracter, who has already signed an agent, foregoing college officially...so he probably should have read this article first before he decided to go for it.

Where is Gerry McNamara now?

Gerry McNamara was a fan favorite at Syracuse. His clutch plays (and ESPN's tendency to overrate him) were noted by college basketball fans nationwide. How exactly has McNamara faired professionally? Where is he now?

tcbailey24's College Basketball Team

With ESPN releasing their All American college basketball team today, I decided to create my own team of current college players. Now, my team doesn't have all the star players or the ones you would think would be on it or the most well known or popular players, but I guarantee if this team played any other All American Team, this team would be victorious every time just because I think they would complement each other really well. So without anymore waiting, here is my team:

Starters:
G-Sean Singletary, Virginia
G-Robert Jarvis, Oral Roberts
G-DeMarcus Nelson, Duke
F-Donte Green, Syracuse
F-DeJuan Blair, Pittsburgh

Bench:
G-Tyrese Rice, Boston College
G-Jerel McNeal, Marquette
G-Jack McClinton, Miami
F-Ryan Anderson, Cal
F-Robbie Hummel, Purdue

There is my team. If you think I missed anybody or you have a comment, they are all welcome.

Villanova Strengthens Tournament Resumé....Bursts Syracuse's Bubble

Scottie Reynolds scored 22 points while Villanova rode some hot shooting in the second half to knock off Syracuse 82-63 Wednesday in the opening round of the Big East tournament. If Villanova can upset #1 ranked Georgetown in round 2, then they will be sure to lock up a spot in this year's NCAA tournament.

Big East Tournament Preview

Madison Square Garden once again hosts a showdown between the top teams of one of the best conferences in the country. The top 7 teams are all in the RPI top 32, so who's gonna win?

The Contenders: #1 Georgetown - The Hoyas will have to focus out of the gates, as their first round game will be against a hungry bubble team. After that, the Hoyas could win it all. With their slow style, the games won't be blowouts, but the Hoyas don't have any losses outside the RPI top 50 all year. Very solid.

Games to Watch: #1 G'Town vs. #8 Syracuse or #9 Villanova - The 8/9 game is clearly a play-out game, and the winner will get a shot at the Hoyas. The Orange beat G'Town recently, and the Wildcats were a cheap late foul short of OT in DC. A win over the Hoyas would probably put either team in.

On Bubble = Loser

Usually, the bubble is littered with pretty good teams, making runs at the tournament with late surges. Big wins in late February always lead to hot debates in March, but this year, no one on the bubble appears to be capable of making a decent case.
