It's Official...

Ybbbbbb, what's good. Its your boy Boom. Its offcial, I'm a Clipper, and it feels great! One of the big reasons I wanted to come back home was so I could impact the communities of my hometown in a positive way, and I'm excited to do that. I was trying to wear number 85, in honor of the street I grew up on and where my basketball career was truly started by my grandfather who built my first hoop in our backyard. However, I chose number 1, I've worn it before and feel comfortable in it. Oooo and be on the lookout for some special edition number 85 jerseys! HUH!! Honey I'm homeeee!! LOL. We have a lot of work to do as a team, and I'm ready for the challenge. But, its time for a couple days vaca and then back on the grind. Gotta get to the jet. I'm out!

Competitive Vibes...

What up YB, your boy BoomDizzle stopping through the yard. This past week I have been really focused on working out. I think seeing the Lakers and Celtics go head to head was getting those competitive vibes going. I need to lead my team there… to the big show! Ya Digg! The series was extremely competitive, both teams were hungry. I actually did an interview with Kobe a couple weeks ago, talking about the road to the championship, I knew he was focused… but it was anybodies series to win and Boston took it. Big shout out to "Truth", P Squared aka Paul Pierce. He and I grew up together and it was a great season for him and his team. Just one thing, its our turn next year P! I have to send much love to my bro Cash and sis Jessica. Congrats! Boom is officially an uncle! LOL, that's crazy HUH!!

This week is nothing but basketball, I'm glad I have some free time to focus and rest. But next week it's back to my busy schedule… Anyone want to take some meetings for me?? JK. Baron Davis Camp coming soon, be there or be square… remember when you were little and that phrase was cool. HAHA. Anyway, I'm off to lunch. Ill holla.

Me and Snoop Freestyling...

Im backkkkkkkkk!! Last Saturday... Isn't the weekend when you're suppose to rest?? I'm up early and I'm on the grind! I'm letting the league know now, next year I'm out for revenge! I kinda have a lil bit of a chip on my shoulder, so I'm waking up each morning and working hard…hey, its my JOB right! LOL

Shout out to my boy Tew from FTB and everyone involved in helping support the RSOA scholarship fund. Last week we had a "Teamplay" fundraiser that went really well, I want to thank everyone who came out and supported the cause. To all my fans, camps coming up soon so make sure you check out RSOA.net for all the details. Ya Digg!!

Last Sunday was definitely not my day of rest. Me and the Mayor of LA kicked it for during annual brunch for "LA's Best", haha your boy is one of LA's Best! LOL. This after school mentoring program that serves more than 50,000 inner city kids is especially close to me because is was a member when I was a kid so I always enjoy helping the cause. I cant help but support a special organization that's close to my heart. My boy Forest Whitaker received the humanitarian award, he's a great person, just an all around standup guy. I have nothing but love for Forest and respect him for what he has accomplished. Forest when I need some acting lessons I'm coming to holler at you! Sunday night I was fresh to death and headed to the Sports Spectacular, man I look like Denzel in this suit! The event is an annual event that raises more than $1 million each year to benefit Cedars-Sinai and the battle against birth defects. I got the call a couple months ago that I would be one of four athletes honored. Gabby Reese, Mike Strahan and Ray Lewis, were the 3 other honorees, a great class to be included in and extremely humbling. Derek Fisher also received an inspirational award. He and his family truly have a story that touched the hearts of everyone who has heard it. Big shout out to D. Fish and his fam! It was great to have all of my family and friends there with me. Cash was able to present me with the award. Yo, I'm about to be uncle Boom!! LOL. It doesn't get any better than that. I got that shirt for you Cash. LOL. I want to thank Terrin Christensen for being a true hero and helping me out on stage. Hey Steve, does the Aston feel like the Luzco Dragon Racing car? Maybe we will trade. My night ended with me and Snoop freestyling…HUH! I mean what else do I need to say.

Soooo, this weekend I decided to chill. I stuck to my regular workout schedule and really just chilled around the house. I took a dip in the pool, you know in L.A. we have the perfect weather for that and kicked it wit the fam, my favorite thing to do during my free time… hey my summer is going just as planned!

100 MPH in the Aston...

BoomDizzle in the yard. My 2 week vacation is over and I'm back grinding like the Clipse. Basketball is my focus and this summer I'm working out harder than ever to make sure that next year making the playoffs is guaranteed. This western conference is crazyyy. I love basketball, so although these workouts may kill me, I'm doing what I love most.

For those of you that don't know I spent last Sunday at the Indianapolis 500 supporting my boys Steve and Jay over at Luczo Dragon Racing. To give you a brief rundown on what it is about you should check out the other #5's blog fellow Barker D.McNabb he was one of the 12 new celebrity partners. Congrats on joining the team man its an awesome group! I know I am a little late on putting this up but in the spirit of Bill Simmons and major sporting events, I tried to keep a running diary on my blackberry, it was a little difficult while taking pictures and signing autographs but hey I gave it a try!!! LOL!!! ……….

My day at Indy was crazy!! I got into Indy at 5am just in time to take a quick nap. I'm hanging out with my boy Hall Of Famer Marcus Allen, we are on the bus headed to the track. This is a sweet deal, police escort, I'm feeling real presidential… did you say Obama... HUH! Slash and his boy Cheese are cutting up in the back, those guys are hilarious. How is this for an odd couple, me and Bode Miller (US Alpine Skier), check him out he has some hardware, walking the red carpet LOL... Be right back I am off to the interview room. Check it, we have the "ibeatyou" logo on the Luczo Dragon Racing car. I'm in the pit, its crazy, there are sooooooo many people, ive hear whispers of 400,000 WOWWW… uh oh another interview (Check me out ma I'm on the Jumbotron!!!). I don't realize it all the time but I appreciate the love I get across the country, ya'll definitely keep me motivated! I am in the presence of a true legend, Indy great Roger Penske (if you don't know you better ask somebody!!!!) The race is about to start, gentlemen start your engines!! The pace cars are circling... and I can feel the rush. The energy on the track is amazing I feel like I am about to play a game!! I couldn't imagine driving a car at 200mph, well maybe 100mph in the Aston! HUH! I think T.Scheckter has a great chance to win today LDR #12... ya digg. That lady from Dancing with The Stars sung the National Anthem, Juliana Huff, I think her name is, she's Dope. Man, Scheck is holding his own out there staying in the top 5 for most of the race at this point. I'm down in the pit now!!! Ringside feeling real bossy... LOL!!!. yo, for the record, the pit crews are monsters, I wish I could get my tires and fuel that quick, I wouldn't be late to anything... LOL NOOOOO!!!!! We were in third. If you saw the race you would know what happened. We broke a drive shaft trying to get out of the pits. The race was tight, Danica was in 7th and closing but she just got knocked out of the race by Ryan Brisco. Danica is a firecracker, she walked all the way down pit row to go after Brisco's crew!!! I love racing!!! I might have to jump in a GO KART and serve some of my teammates...

So I commandeered our truck trying to get out of the speedway but there are 400,000 people trying to leave as well, where is that police escort when you need it, but I think we are going to be good I got Marcus ridin' shotgun... just found us a police escort and we are out!!!!. I'm back home by dinner time and I think I might have got sunburned, that heat was crazy. O and congrats to Scott Dixon for winning the race…Welcome to my summer. Ill holla!!

What up yb, I definitely want to thank everyone for the support. Yesterday me and my college teammate Earl Watson hung out. It's always nice to reminisce about college ball and all the fun we had. I know y'all remember the off the backboard lob he threw me, one of the craziest plays ever! HUH!! It's nice to be in LA, 90 degree weather visiting my family and friends. I know everyone has seen the Zohan commercials, even I laugh at myself when I see them. Adam Sandler is hilarious. Anyway, I'm off to get a tan, jk. I'll holla.

I want to be in the Bay!!

What up yard, it's me tuning in. I'm back on my blog now that I'm done getting over the season. lol. I know you been hearing a lot about me in the news lately. yeah I have too... been getting a lot of phone calls and questions asked. I want to be in the Bay! I think it's a great area and the people are great but most importantly I have really good teammates and coaches. And that's what it's about... winning. The rest of the stuff I'll leave up to the front office and my agent.

As far as personal time goes, I have been spending time in the bay, working out. staying in shape. I just went to the all stars helping kids golf tourney in pebble beach. Wow, what a place. I had an amazing group of guys with me. Greg, John, Ric, Kevin! They helped me with my golf game. My caddy Dean was the best.

All Stars Helping Kids was created by Ronnie Lott and Harris Barton and their group does things for kids across the bay, from children's hospitals to schools. Being there continues to inspire me to do my part. Seeing all those Hall of Famers and former all stars helping to make a difference is powerful. I want my foundation Teamplay to have the same impact!

Also I'm moving up in IBeatYou rankings. My stare contest I started is turning out to be the largest staring comp ever. Log on and challenge me. Just know that was my first crack at it besides going head to head with Sandler. Part two of the stare is coming soon. Lol. And thanks for all the shout outs about the Zohan gig. It was a blast.

Be good and do a good deed everyday.

What up yb, its ur boy Boom is back in the yard. Last time I was in here I told you I was working on something special with my boy Adam Sandler, if you've been watching the playoffs you've probably seen the spot, if not check it out on Youtube (A dreeeem?
Up For A Good Challenge...

What up yb, ur boy Boomdizzle in the yard. Its not easy to sit here and watch the other teams in the playoffs, so I don't really watch much of it. So far I've been trying to catch up with the other ventures I have going on off the court. Ibeatyou.com is def a lot of fun, and now that anyone can join, people are challenging me all the time, but I'm always up for a good challenge! I just did something special with Adam Sandler, I'm not going to say what for, but it was definitely a lot of fun. Shout out to the Sandman! Ya digg. After the season I always take a little time off to let my body recover, so that's what I'm doing right now. I need to have a good vacation, any suggestions??? Anyway, I'm out, but I will definitely keep the yard updated! Holla!

My Fans...

What's up yb, it's Boom and I'm back in the Yard. Last game was tough. It was a must win and we weren't able to get it done so our last game is tomorrow against the Sonics. The season has gone by too fast. Seems like just yesterday I was in Hawaii playing preseason games against the Lakers. I don't know what I'm gonna do this summer, I didn't expect to be packing up so early, but I'm sure I will have a lot to share with yall. I know one thing I am going to do, and that's work as hard as possible so that next year this doesn't happen again. Ya digg. I'm not gonna lie to my fans, I hate losing. I play this game to win, and it's even harder when I feel like I wasn't able to help my team do that. For now though, I'm out!

Boom here, the last games of the season are here and this is the time of the season when we hope to get our team playing its best basketball, anything can happen in the West. Its been a long season but I am feeling great. Off the court, my new album is coming out May 1st, pick that up!!! APRIL FOOLS!! Lol. Yall should definitely know I'm focused on taking my team as far into the playoffs as possible, no time to make music. Lol. I do have some info for my young fans though, I am having my basketball camp in Oakland from July 21st to the 25th. I will definitely be there to teach all the NBA tricks and even more important the true fundamentals of the game. Its my first year doing it in Oakland, the past years in LA have been a lot of fun, and I hope to have just as much fun in the Yay area!!!! Visit RSOA.net to learn more about that.
Returning Home....

Boom in the Yard!! We're returning home from a 4 game road trip. Just left Florida, where we played the Heat and the Magic, and we can't be mad at coming back 3 and 1. I love Florida, seeing the sights, the nice weather, the people; it definitely reminds me of home.

I forgot to mention that in ATL I had a show for a clothing line I support called the "The Black Boy Collection" or "Black Boy." It's for pioneers who go against the grain and pave ways. People who represent art and struggle in the pursuit of perfection. There was an awesome turnout. People in the A really liked the line. I'm happy with the direction it's going. The line appeals to a very diverse crowd and that's what we wanted. Actually in some of my clips, like the sneak peak at my crib, I'm wearing the line… so you don't think I really don't have it lol. Let me know what you think of the line. Definitely check it out.

Anyway, off to rest, I'll holla later!
