Back from DC Charity Boxing. It was good to be in a room with so many great fighters. Speaking of great fighters, Pacquioa looks good on Saturday.

I think Cotto is a good fighter, but I believe Pacquioa's quickness will overcome Cotto.

I keep getting asked what I think about Mike Tyson's interview on Oprah. They showed my fight against Mike when they said "it all came crashing down."

FIRST I wish Mike well! I believe him about what he said about Evander.

I have lived through my own trials.

He has a good looking family and good looking kids. I wish him all of the best.

Have you heard that Rush Limbaugh purchased the St. Louis Rams?

What do you think of that?

I mean, it is a business after all...why not Rush Limbaugh?

FIRST let me say this is neither PRO Republican or PRO Democrat...let me clear that up fast...just

What do you think of him buying it considering he said a lot about minorities in the league and once said he believed in segregation?

NO POLITICS PLEASE.

What do you think about the SPORTS side of it?

As some of you know, one of my sons plays college football and plays varsity as a true freshman. I'm really proud of him. My youngest is plays high school football.

I had a great time at the 2009 New Albany Classic Grand Prix Invitational. The way some of the riders had those horses jumping you would think they had air jordan's on! It was cool.

I met with my fellow Yardbarker, Santonio Holmes today on the set of ESPN's Gameday, where we were both on the show.

My partner Lou Sowell is a huge Pittsburgh fan, so he was thrilled to be around Santonio.

I guess another Yardbarker, Greg O will be at the club Icon tonight after the game to celebrate.

This is bad news for USC, because we're bringing the Buck-guys good luck.

ESPN's College Gameday OSU vs. USC

I have been asked to be on some of the television specials this weekend at the Ohio State vs. USC. I'm looking forward to the game.

My thoughts on the game? I think you have two weakened defenses so there should be a lot of scoring. Two young quarterbacks, but USC has more backfield talent to rely.

I think Ohio State has a chance.

This is Tony today (Fri Sept. 11) at the set for ESPN's College Gameday set.

Hopefully they will include us in the program.

Ohio State Vs. USC and Dotting the "i"

I'm looking forward to this game this Saturday and for the Big10 finally to gain some respect. I will be a guest during one of the telecasts.

I had the pleasure of being one of only 8 select few non-band members to dot the "I." It's called Honorary dotting of the I in the band formation, which is an OSU tradition. I am lucky enough to be in the likes of Bob Hope, Woody Hayes, Jack Nicklaus, and last week Senator John Glenn and his wife.

My co-author of my book, Tony Reynolds, graduated from Ohio State with a degree in Journalism. He said he hopes TP is in the whole game and that Ohio State will do some plays other than run run pass.

I hope they come out with an aggressive demeanor.

Oprah transforms lives

How is everyone? I hope you had a great summer. Time for back to school. I had the wonderful gift of partially inspiring someone who is trying to lose weight.

She has lost half of her goal of 100 pounds. That is touching to me! That means a lot that I can inspire someone in anyway to help her reach her goal. She was working at it before I came along. But that she said she cared what I had to say or that I encouraged her means a lot to me.

Anyway, she has featured me on Oprah.Com and I am truly honored and thrille to be part of a community that is so positive and about transforming peoples lives.

Amateur Boxing

Sports, that's right, that is what this blog is about. I told you this is not just sports, but a capsule into my world.

Anyway, I got to watch some exciting young boxers coming up at the Ohio State Fair from Pennsylvania, Ohio Valley, West Virginia, Indiana, Kentucky.

It was great seeing all of these young athletes in action!
