Magic Johnson's net worth is estimated to be $900 million. He also is jokingly rumored to have found a cure for HIV. But neither of those things excuse the fact that he has man boobs.

Good to see that big man G.O. is a down-to-earth dude, even if he does stand seven feet above ground and hover in an entirely different tax bracket.

Packers.com fumbles "Favre to Retire"

A "Favre to Retire" article was posted on the Packers website today, either accidentally or prematurely. Only time will tell. The article has since been removed but a screenshot of the "article," which really was just a headline, is available here.

"Bruce Lee" Kobe

Kobe Bryant studies martial arts, specifically a discipline pioneered by the man himself, Bruce Lee. Unlike many martial arts disciplines, Jeet Kune Do is not focused on defense and discipline. Instead it focuses on aggressive offense. What? That doesn't surprise you?

ESPN defends Chris Berman

"The off-air videos are now nearly a decade old and do not reflect his typical workplace demeanor, his relationships with co-workers, nor the contributions he has made to ESPN over many years. Chris has a tremendous connection with sports fans and his body of work should not be judged by a few minutes of unguarded language uttered years ago. We aren't excusing the language used and will be emphasizing to our workforce the importance of using appropriate language in the workplace."

Deux, Deux, Dumb

The latest Chris Berman video is not a rant but rather a tutorial in drug smuggling and lying to customs officials. Berman sneaked codeine-based pills called 222s (or "deux-deux-deuxs") into the United States from Canada because, let's face it, "a little eight-percent codeine never hurt anybody."

During this particular MNF broadcast, Berman admits that he took "four deux-deux-deuxs at six o'clock," which according to my cursory Internet search appears to be double the recommended dosage. He also jokes that because the pills are legal in Canada, he always looks forward to calling Blue Jays games in Toronto. With an ego to match his girth, you have to wonder if Chris Berman will feel ashamed about this. My guess? Probably not. And maybe he shouldn't. Perhaps the shame should fall on us for our voyeurism? Nah. C'est la vie in the land of YouTube.

You also have to wonder about ESPN's response. The four-letter network suspended anchorwoman Dana Jacobson for drunkenness at the Mike & Mike roast, but what will they do about Berman, who ostensibly with their knowledge committed crimes on their dime, and not recently but some time ago. Perhaps they reprimanded him years ago behind the scenes, but now that it's public, a private slap on the wrist is no longer a sufficient response to this slap in the face to the so-called World Wide Leaders.

Free fantasy sports a thing of the past?

Yahoo! is on the verge of being sold, either as a whole or in piecemeal. Does this mean the end of free fantasy sports?

"If either ESPN or CBS Sports were to attempt to purchase Yahoo Sports, the number of traditional websites that host fantasy sports games would fall from three to two—a general red flag in terms of competition law. In addition, if the market's low price provider, Yahoo, were gobbled up by a website more likely to charge customer fees, another red flag would be triggered."

King James is better than Kobe

So says Epic Carnival, which today listed 10 reasons why Ohio's finest is better than Kobe. Some of the points are tough to argue with (e.g. age) but if Bynum is healthy, I'd put my money on Kobe and the Lakers over LBJ and the Cavs. And with three seconds left on the clock, there is no one I'd rather have take the shot than Kobe Bryant.

Senior Bowl (winners and losers)

Winners and losers from this year's Senior Bowl. "The best player participating was USC's DT Sedrick Ellis, who should be a top-seven pick."

USC's Sedrick Ellis: #1 overall?

Today's Senior Bowl (South 17, North 16) wasn't decided until an extra point was kicked with the clock at 0:00, but the real buzz at this year's game was no different than any other year. Draft stock. Some stocks rise and others fall.

Here is a look at three guys who made or lost money today. One of them is Sedrick Ellis, who after last week's practices and today's game may have leapfrogged LSU's Glenn Dorsey as the odds-on favorite to be the #1 overall pick in April's NFL Draft.

LOST MONEY: QB Matt Ryan (Boston College): Arguably the top gunslinger prospect in this year's draft class, Ryan chose not to play in this year's Senior Bowl. You can't like the moxie of a guy who isn't hungry to be on the field. It was probably his agent's advice -- nothing to gain, everything to lose -- but who do you want running your team. A guy who listens to his agent when the pressure is high? Or a guy who wants to play football?

MADE MONEY: DT Sedrick Ellis (USC): What a monster game. This guy fits the bill for what Bill Parcells and the Dolphins want and need: a huge guy who can penetrate the offensive line at will. His draft stock couldn't be higher right now. His agent probably will tell him to avoid the upcoming NFL Combine, but he has already said he'll be there. "You know it," he said when asked about attending the Combine during today's post-game interview. "It's competition, right?" That is a guy you want on your football team. He wants to break skulls first, and cash checks later.

LOST MONEY: QB Andre Woodson (Kentucky): Another top prospect at the quarterback position, Woodson took a safety today instead of throwing the ball away. He can't create on the run as well as you'd like for a guy with his strength and size. His mechanics and decision-making decline when he is under pressure. In Woodson's defense, he was being hunted by Sedrick Ellis. Still, his performance in the bowl game against an FSU defense deleted by suspensions, and today's performance, did absolutely nothing to bolster this guy's chances to be the second quarterback chosen behind Ryan or Louisville's Brian Brohm. Don't be surprised if Woodson drops to the third round.

Teams: Mavericks, Ravens, Mets, Fighting Irish, Knicks
People: Beckham, Gumbel, Bonds, Isiah and Clemens

How are the Patriots not on this list?
