Now our last few meetings against the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium have not gone our way but we are looking to turn that around. Last night was a great start. Things have been going great. Everyone on the team is contributing and that just does so much to help a team win. I am especially anxious to see where LeBron James, my favorite player, will wind up. Being that I live so close to Houston during the offseason some of my friends and I will attend some Houston Rockets games. That being said my next biggest concern is what kind of moves the Rockets will try to make to bring in a key free agent or two. With Yao Ming deciding this week he will continue to be a Rocket I think that will really help bring some strong talent to Houston. I am really interested to see how this whole free agency will turn out. Maybe some of you guys could share what you think might happen and who goes where. The team and I are preparing for tonight's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. Over the past few days we have been in Houston playing the Astros. We ended up winning all three games of that series. I think it was a real confidence boost for the team, and everyone is feeling really good. I especially liked playing in Houston because I had a lot of family and friends at the games. I am from Beaumont, TX which is about 90 miles from Houston. It was really nice getting to visit with everyone between my games. Well, I am going to get ready for batting practice. I cannot believe how fast the offseason has come and gone. I am currently in Goodyear, Arizona for Spring Training. Arizona has been awesome and I have loved it so far. For those of you who might not have known, this is our first year in Arizona. The Reds held it down in Sarasota, Florida from 1998 until this year. We are sharing a facility with the Cleveland Indians, and it is really nice place. I am really excited about our team this year and feel like we have a good chance of doing some damage. The fight was unbelievable, and I had a great time with my friends. Since I've been home I've just been working out and relaxing. Today I heard about a documentary on "Lil Wayne"(my favorite artist, and bascially the only thing I listen to) called Carter, so naturally I had to get it. I downloaded it off of iTunes today and I do have to say, it was awesome! It was very very interesting/eye opening video. I think the guy is as talented as it gets in my opinion. It's crazy to me that he doesn't write anything down!!
