Hey All You Yankee Fans

Sadly I'm not reporting that the Yankees are now in playoff contention, but the minor league Yankees' affiliates sure are. Tonight the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre triple-A team are playing in a best of five series against the Durham Bulls in the Governors' Cup. Several familiar Yankee players are in the series including Shelley Duncan, Phil Hughes, and Ian Kennedy.
The pitching matchups are as follows:
Tuesday- Yankees' Chase Wright vs. Durham's David Price Wednesday- Yankees' Ian Kennedy vs. Durham's Mitch Talbot Thursday- Yankees' Kei Igawa vs. Durham's Jeff Niemann
Friday- Yankees' Phil Hughes vs. Durham's Wade Davis
Saturday- Yankee's Victor Zambrano vs. Durham TBD
The Double-A Yankees' affliate Trenton Thunder are also beginnig a first of five championship series against Portland starting tonight.
So even though the big league team isn't looking to a playoff berth, you can still support the Yankees and the future stars. For those of you, like me, who think that the Yankees still can pull off a miracle....well, you can watch those games too.

Just Say No to the Just for Men....

Jason Giambi, first baseman for the New York Yankees could soon be undergoing a Pap smear test on this mouth. Concern over his alarming new mustache has many people wondering if he in fact has grown a vagina. The 6'3", 235 pound Yankee first baseman shouldn't be worried over the alarming concerns.
For the record, this article is completely false and should not be taken seriously....but, Giambi should really do something about that 'stache. No one deserves the torture of having to look at that all day. Hey Big G, next time someone offers you Just for Men, just say no.

So, wow, I have a blog....

As I'm sitting here totally ignoring my English paper that is half-done and due in an hour, I realize how dumb I really am....I then realize that I don't care at the moment. School's on the back-burner and for now I focus my attention on the Yankees' loss today. They were doing so well with riding a seven-win streak, I actually thought i could live with Jason Giambi's horrible squirrel-like 'stache. But, of course good things have to come to an end at some point or other.---Maybe Giambi will be convinced it isn't working and start a whole new streak with him clean shaven....please, God! I'm sure that the team will make a comeback and hopefully we've finally risen from the land of continual mediocrity and move into serious contention. Okay, I have to stop...the more I type, the more guilty I feel for not doing this stupid paper. So, I guess that's it for now....This is so depressing. I seriously need for Joba Chamberlain to come sweep me off my feet, declare his undying love, and say I'll never have to go to school again!
