Korver : the salt the Jazz needed

Other than the playoffs and opening night, few events are as exciting as getting new blood on a competitive NBA team. This happens in two ways, a trade, or the draft. Kyle Korver is a trade that made the Jazz look like a team that wants to compete again.

Korver is a super addition to the Utah Jazz. With sharp shooter skills from the outside, he frees up the inside and keeps the defense honest in spreading the floor. This is meant to open up the middle, which it has, but more importantly and maybe a little less expected is the release it has given to Okur's shooting. Okur has gone off for two games over twenty and has a mess of confidence that is pouring out onto the court since Korver's arrival. Jazz fans are happy to have Korver, but maybe even more happy to have Memo back. Thanks Korver.
