Reds Drop Fifth Straight.

Today the Reds extended their losing streak to 5 and dropped to 8 games under .500. It is a painful time to be a Reds fan (as it has been the last 8 years)...so I figured I'd put up this audio link of Adam Dunn phoning in on Marty Brenneman's banana phone during a rain delay in July of 2006 to give my fellow Reds fans a laugh. If you're not a Reds fan, it'll still make you crack a smile.

I wonder what J.P. would think of this?

Josh Hamilton--The Story Travels to Texas

Great article about Josh Hamilton who I will miss watching gun runners down from centerfield. He was a class act while he was here and is still one of, if not my favorite athletes. I will never forget when he pinch-hit for the Reds on Opening Day 2007. The Reds have a knack for trading my favorite outfielders, but at least it opens the door for the talents of Jay Bruce. I'm excited about the Reds future. Perhaps Hamilton's road may one day lead him back to Cincinnati.
