2008 NFL Draft: Lions Turn Attention to Offense in Fifth-RoundWith the 136th pick of the 2008 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions drafted Wake Forest wide receiver Kenneth Moore. This draft pick was acquired by Detroit on Saturday when they moved down two spots in the first-round, allowing Kansas City to move up and pick Branden Albert. I started to see the wide receiver jokes come out when this pick was made as I guess Matt Millen just couldn't wait any longer. What's funny, though, is that Moore is, well, more of a special teams player than a wide receiver. He could be used in the slot like Shaun McDonald, but his versatility allows him to return punts and/or kicks as well.
