7/01/2006 - Matthews makes amazing catch

In 2001, Gary Matthews Jr. made the catch of the year in Major League Baseball. Then a Chicago Cub, Matthews slid for a baseball in center field. The ball popped out of the glove in his left hand and appeared to be a hit in-the-making. But at the last moment, Matthews extended his right arm back and grasped the ball in his fingertips.
