Yesterday, Major League Baseball announced that Orioles second baseman Brian Roberts is one of five candidates for the final spot on the 2008 American League All-Star team. An all-star last in 2007, he's currently .295 with 7 home runs and 32 RBIs, along with 24 stolen bases.
The winner will be decided through the Monster 2008 All-Star Game Final Vote, to be held exclusively on MLB.com, the official website of Major League Baseball.
