Gleason added to U.S. roster

As expected, Hurricanes defenseman Tim Gleason has been named to the U.S. national team for May's IIHF World Championships, USA Hockey announced today.

Gleason, who played in 80 games for the Canes this season, will join the Americans at training camp later this month.

Gleason's addition brings the Canes up to eight players from the organization who will represent their home countries. more...
