Jim Edmonds Gets Married

Dear Diary-

Do you want to know how this 38 year old spent his All Star Break? Well, I got hitched. Allison and I headed down to the St. Louis County Courthouse to get in line with 24 other couples. Knowing it was a big occasion, I naturally threw on a pair of jeans and a T-Shirt. I think she took it pretty well for a 28 year old who was getting married at a courthouse on a random Wednesday. We didn't bring our son, Landon. I just didn't think the 2 year old would need to see it. We didn't bring my two girls from the first marriage, either. Knowing that a girl dreams of her wedding, I told her I would take her out for a big, fancy reception where I would drop a lot of dough, and boy did I deliver. We headed to my restaurant in St. Louis, where we didn't have a reception big enough to even mention to the manager. more...
