Jurevicius Recovering From Staph Infection

Kellen Winslow.and now...Joe Jurevicius.It was confirmed on Friday by the Cleveland Plain Dealer that Jurevicius contracted a staph infection following his knee surgery in early January. The good news is that Jurevicius is recovering well and is expected to participate in the team's activities in May and minicamp in June. Jurevicius has already stated that he may retire after this season. One funny thing though: I seem to recall a couple of months ago that there were rumors started and promoted by fans that the entire demeanor from Jurevicius and the team seemed to indicate that something was wrong (the fans suggested a staph infection). That's why this didn't really come as a big surprise to me, and I'm sure it wasn't a surprise for some of you either. more...
