Lyoto Machida vs. Rich Franklin (Inoki Bom-Ba-Ye 2003-Inoki Festival)

Lyoto (Ryoto) "The Dragon" Machida vs. Rich "Ace" Franklin
(Inoki Bom-Ba-Ye 2003-Inoki Festival)

To all the people who say Lyoto Machida is a boring fighter- that's not true at all- he's just a very careful fighter. And when I say careful fighter, I mean careful as in a effective fighter, not Kalib Starnes "careful" (click here)

Hate him all you like for being a Shotokan Karate posterboy (something I can understand, although it annoys me when people conveniently forget his BJJ and Sumo background.)

As for good examples of Machida's striking ability, watch this (it ends with a knockout, I promise!) as well as his fight against Vernon White, where he keep catching White every time he throws a punch.

I really can't wait for Machida vs. Ortiz coming up soon.

Now, for absolutely no reason, here is the Stephen Colbert vs. Rain (Bi) dance off from last night's "Colbert Report"
