Coach Mark Dantonio on where the team is compared to last year at this point: There's more recall. We've lost some great players, and we're filling those gaps. I thought a lot of guys took a step forward today. B.J. Cunningham and Mark Dell played very, very well, and Chris D. Rucker made some big plays.
