Paul McCann: Solidifying the Core

Recognizing the realities of the new NHL, Predators GM David Poile is working to lock up key cogs in the Predator's machine. The latest is Martin Erat's seven year 31.5 million dollar deal. A long term plan is beginning to emerge as the Preds now have four players signed through at least the 2010-2011 season (Erat, Arnott, Dumont, Legwand) with a few more RFA's left to sign. more...
