Masterson: Justin Masterson was drafted by the Red Sox in the second round in 2006, out of San Diego State. His early amateur career was mixed; he was not a top prospect in high school and began his career as a catcher, but he took a huge step forward in the Cape Cod League in 2005 and solidified that in '06.
