Return of the R&B Receiver
Darnerien McCants is back in the NFL, and not too far from where he began his NFL journey. Drafted by the Washington Redskins in the 2001 NFL Draft, the Delaware State University product proved himself to be a valuable red zone receiver, leading the team in touchdown receptions in 2003.
But between disputes with coaches, and a flirtation with being an R&B singer, he bounced from Washington, to the Philadelphia Eagles, to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, was drafted All-American Football League's Tennessee franchise, and briefly signed with with the New Orleans Voodoo of the Arena Football League. more...
