Saturday Pebble Report:

Colorado Springs: L 6-10

Josh Newman and Alberto Arias each allowed four runs to score in relief of Josh Towers, as the Dodgers AAA affilliate took a liking to the Sky Sox bullpen. Three of Newman's runs were "unearned" which is a distinction I hate anyway, but it's particularly invalid when the pitcher himself errs to allow the runs to score, as was the case here. Defensive miscues weren't solely confined to the pitchers, Jayson Nix doubled his error count for the season with two in the game.
