The July 4th holiday weekend was a busy one for the San Jose Sharks and general manager Doug Wilson. In the span of 48 hours on Thursday and Friday, the Sharks traded defenseman Craig Rivet, Matt Carle, Ty Wishart a 2009 first-round, 2010 fourth-round, and 2010 seventh-round draft picks to the Buffalo Sabres and the Tampa Bay Lightning for defenseman Dan Boyle, Brad Lukowich and 2009 and 2010 second-round picks.
