Stadium trial now set for July 10

The trial in Miami auto dealer Norman Braman's lawsuit against the funding plan for a new Florida Marlins stadium and other projects has been postponed by one day.

The new start time is 1 p.m., Thursday, in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court.

Braman's lawsuit challenges the city of Miami, Miami-Dade County and the Florida Marlins regarding the city and county's legal authority to engage in a complex financial agreement with the team to fund the stadium and other projects like a tunnel to the Port of Miami. more...
