Taylor Says He Wont Miss Training Camp
"Football doesn't start until July and training camp, so I'll be all right. I've been in L.A. and so far removed from it. Like I said, I'll deal with that when I get there." Deal with it when he gets here? So the saga continues. Sparano seemed certain just last week that Taylor would not be at training camp, so what is Jason Taylor going to deal with exactly? Taylor's reps were scheduled to meet with the Dolphins after his upcoming golf tournament, but the Dolphins cancelled the meeting. Is this simply a clash of egos? It sure looks like it. Parcells wants to run the organization his way, but JT doesn't want to follow the rules. This is a situation where you can and cant blame both parties. Why would JT want to be at camp now, he's 33 and has wasted, wasted, pro bowl seasons on a couple of horrible teams. On the flip side he must of have done something, other than miss some early OTA's, to get under Parcells skin. Taylor is going to address the media Sunday night before his gala dinner, will he answer some questions regarding the situation then? Doubtful, but I expect him to put the ball in the Dolphins court and on his terms, if in fact he hasn't already done that. Maybe that's what has Parcells a little irritated. Some quick OTA notes. Ricky Williams looks good, and Ronnie Brown was making sharp cuts on his surgically repaired knee. None of the Quarterbacks looked sharp. Charlie Anderson stepped in at Jason Taylor's spot. Jason Allen and Yeremiah Bell started at the Safety spots. Both Randy Starks and Phillip Merling started behind Matt Roth and Vonnie Holliday. Andre Goodman started opposite Will Allen.Download the Free Phinfever Browser Toolbar
