Who Is The Best NFL Rivalry?

It's a fair question. NY vs. Miami? Dallas Vs. Washington? Green Bay and Chicago? The list could go on and on and on. In reality though, it all depends on who you root for.

My good friend, Matt Loede, over at NFLGridironGab.com asked that very question. While the results might surprise you in his NFL round table [...] more...

Broncos - Raiders

I agree tcbailey24. I can't think of a more intense rivalry.

you are correct

Patriots-Colts. No question. All the other rivalries are because of divisions or locations. Pats-Colts is strictly talent level and no game is looked forward to more than when the lovable Colts and Tony Dungy go against the team everyone hates with the evil genius Bill Belechick.

classic good v. evil now from 07' happenings...mad man BB for sure, but Dungy, in my opinion, is no saint either, has everyone fooled....Colts as always pure?, I don't buy it, i.e. documented fake crowd noise...I do respect coach and Indy team however, just saying they aren't these good guys as much as media says, ya hear that Merrill Hoge!....hear ya white Jord., good rivalry for five years and counting

Cowboys/Skins, Raiders/Chiefs, but right now i wil agree with white J

you mean RAiders - Broncos

No, no Broncos - Faders

yes, my bad

Eagles vs. the world?
j/k
Steelers vs. Browns/ Bengals/ Ravens gets a lot of attention round here
Eagles vs. Cowboys/ Giants/ Redskins is crazy....
Bills vs Phins also a good one
Vikings vs. Packers

Steelers-Bengals is a big one. What about Bears-Packers?

yeah it was mentioned above i think

KC and Denver or KC and the Raiders

eagles-giants, falcons-saints, bengals-steelers, browns-steelers, packers-bears??? the list goes on and on seems like every game can be called a rivalry!!!!

All of the NFC East teams against each other. Always some of the most intense games of the year.
Eagles vs Cowboys
Eagles vs Skins
Eagles vs Giants
Giants Vs Cowboys
Giants Vs Skins
Giants Vs Eagles
and so on

Mcdougle will surprise some people this year if he gets his chance.

But the end result is.....

HAHAHAHAHAHA, even there he looks unsure

unsure bout where hes gonna chug all that champagne maybe

No need to back your boy. If your a true Football Giants fan, you are not an Eli Manning fan

aint a giants fan or eli fan

"If your a true Football Giants fan, you are not an Eli Manning fan" i dont follow on that......who made that rule???

Unfortunately, Eli has set that up himself

awwwwe. and he barely has any scruff on his face.

Yeah I agree NFC EAST IS PRETTY BRUTAL but their are other good rivals out there......that's why FOOTBALL IS THE BEST SPORT

couldnt agree with you more!

NFC East the best inter-connected...wow, NYG-DAL, etc. on those teams...GB-CHI or MIN...DEN-OAK KC-DEN...NWE/NYJ...NE/MIA...PIT-CLE...The best? they are all good

Philadelphia Eagles And Dallas Cowboys Is The Best Rivalry

Since about 1980 I can't think of two teams who've played in more games with playoff implications. And Eagle fans have crazy dislike for Cowboys. Each team has gotten the better of each other. The media loves covering both teams.

Green Bay vs. Chicago is the biggest and best rivalry! Whether they are lousy or good this is the rivalry second to none! All the other rivalries added up dont even come close!

Saints v.s Falcons enough said

r u kidding?

no please tel me more bout this

I think it all comes down to who u like. i'm an eagles fan but will watch any NFL game and I always like one team over the other. when the Gmen play the Cmen i base who I want to win on records.... if we need a team to lose to help us then I want that and so forth. in AFC games though Its different for me, It comes down to the fans. when Cleveland sucked for how many years they still played the Steelers hard and the Ravens too. If I had to pick one it the Browns Steelers rivialry that I see the most of here.... but I totally think the best rivalry is any rivalry you are involved with of live near.

*-or live near...

For me.. Eagles/Cowboys...best ever!! Colts/Pats,Steelers/Browns,Green Bay/Chicago all fun to watch!

exactly

Admittedly, I'm a Bears fan, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a more significant rivalry than this one. Their rivalry goes back to 1921, and no other two teams have played each other in every season since. Can anyone do better than Halas vs Lambeau or even Halas vs Lombardi for that matter? But I will say that one team has had a good period of football while the other was down since about the 1970s. In other words, both haven't been good at the same time since the 1960s.

That said, the Redskins/Cowboys has always been heated as well as other rivalries like the Giants/Eagles, Broncos/Raiders, Browns/Steelers.

And like many have said, it's almost impossible to remain objective in this argument because we're naturally going to pick who we follow first and foremost. Nothing wrong with that.

I would still find it hard to not give it to the Bears/Packers because of how long these two teams have went at it. Just look at the total championships, total Hall of Famers between them, and two coaches who have trophies named after them(Halas Trophy for the NFC Championship winner and Lombardi Trophy for the Super Bowl winner).

So many ways to look at it, but I'm sticking with the Bears/Packers as my pick.

NE and Colts is the biggest to date rivalry, last year the last game the Colts played against NE broke record numbers for a regular season game I think..but for all time I would say Bears/Packers.

Browns/Steelers are the most heated rivaly in all of sports. Unless you count the Canadiens/Maple Leafs, but who watches the NHL anyway?

sorry brah, eagles vs cowboys, We were cheering when Irving ended his career were both really f@cked up bro, and cowboys giant redskins fan join me in saying that we have the best division in the nfl that the afc south (colts, jags, texans, titans) got nothing on us baby!!!!!!!!!

tru story

Miami Dolphins vs New York Jets - This is one of the best rivalries that many people don't pay attention to. The Jets have a winning record 45-38-1 over the Dolphins who have a superb record over most other teams. It doesn't matter what year, these teams always play tough and usually split wins during the year. And of couse there's no lack trash talking between their fans year round. Unfortunately this true rivalry has lacked the media attention it deserves. Hopefully one of these teams will soon have a winning record again and their matchup will get in the spotlight where it deserves to be. Go Fins!!!!

i agree, I have a friend from Miami that says this rivalry is ridiculous, I haven't seen it first hand but he says its hell

New Yorkers traveling to Miami makes it more personal I suppose. Always lots of Jets fans in Dolphin Stadium. The NFL is strong with so many good rivalries.

chicago/ green bay

I'm probably biased.
