I haven't been posting as much about the Phillies lately, with their poor play and the NHL and NBA free agency periods, it has been hard to get excited about the Fightin' Phils. Now that interleague is over, however, the Phillies appear to be right back on track, winning again tonight over the Braves, 7-3. It was the second win in a row for the Phillies, the first time they had won two straight since June 12th and 13th. The win also guarantees the Phillies a series victory after losing six straight series. more...
